Community Tenancy Support

Wellsprings recognises that independent living in the community has its challenges and the outreach team continue to support young women in maintaining their accommodation. The outreach team currently support two long term residents in community based apartments in partnership with Cork City Council.

The outreach service also supports other young people in private rented and other types of accommodation. Young women are also supported to become socially engaged in their local community where staff often source and link the young person with local community groups which may offer a sense of place and connectedness to the community.
